AD ( SSO) Password Reset Using ADSSP Tool 

Purpose
The purpose of this article is to provide users with clear instructions for resetting their Active Directory (AD) password and resolving account lockouts. It aims to minimize downtime, improve security, and enable users to quickly regain access to their accounts without unnecessary delays or support requests.

• Account is locked after multiple failed login attempts
• Help users resolve on their own instead of creating ticket

Resetting Your Password
The easiest method for users to reset password on their own is by visiting the SSO password reset Website



From here, you can reset your SSO password. Please do note that, once it is changed your laptop password will also be changed once it is connected to Corp Network ( Until then it would be your old password).

If you are trying to reset a forgotten password, you must enter your Employee ID and enter the captcha.



Once entered, please click on ‘Continue’ which will give 2 methods to verify, the user can either answer their security question or enter a code that has been emailed to their Myridius email, if the user still possesses access to it.

When creating a new password, ensure it meets the following criteria:
• Minimum length (12 characters)
• Includes uppercase and lowercase letters
• Includes at least one number and one special character
• Does not contain your username or common words
